Krypt Surf Technology Power Drive Fins are an active fin, with 30 years of design development and refinement behind them.
The blade of the Power Drive Fin is free from the board and moves in response to water pressure and rider input.
The harder you turn, the greater the movement and flex of the blade.
This results in increased drive, speed and smooth, powerful acceleration through your turns.
The principle behind the Krypt Surf Technology Power Drive Fin Design is to keep as much smooth water flow in contact with the foil of the surfboard fin at all times.
The technical term for this process is ‘active laminar flow.’
As the solid fiberglass fin flexes off and over steers the surf board, responding to the rider input and water pressure, the blade of the fin allows the laminar flow of the water to remain attached, storing and releasing energy through each turn.
This also opens up your angle of attack at the lip through bottom turns and roundhouse cutbacks.

Holy fucking jesus man these fins are next level.

Haven’t tried the thruster set up yet, but fuck man you can just put everything into a turn, sharp as fuck and they step up to the challenge.

hey don’t stall, there always driving forward. These fins have spirit man, the flex is perfect. We have it all around the wrong way with wide base and small tips.

Makes all my other fins feel like primitive stone age shit. Going to have to sell them all now.

They are perfect man they do everything and can harness the speed of the cymatic into something super magic. Why the fuck aren’t they everywhere already.

I rode the AM2s in my TOMO boards and once I put the Power Drive Fins in you could totally feel the differene. The thrust on the thruster setup was unreal and the drive and the spring off the bottom from the Quad setup is so fast. Its like putting a turbo charger on the bottom of your board.

I was feeling how hungry the pack looked today at lennox so i went to Brays and test rode my new fins. As you know, it was a brilliant sparkling winter day with the perfect amount of swell. 4 foot race tracks bending around the point and empty.

I have never surfed so fast, wild, loose and stoked in my life, i was ricocheting along turquoise lines just screaming with stoke.

Did the best blow tail turn I have ever done and rode out with G forces making my hamstrings clench to hold it together.

So THANKYOU for your diligence and handy work in your walk, I felt the same emotion today that you described when you talked of tapping into a new dimension of previously unknown fun off your foil surfing. I am so thankful and grateful.
